It's time to make private renting better, not worse.

Ask your MP to stand up for renters today.

At the end of September, the last of the Government's coronavirus protections will end for private renters.

Landlords will once again be able to evict renters for no reason, with just two months' notice.

Unfair evictions are back.

That's why on Tuesday 14 September, a group of renters will be going to Parliament to demand the Government gives private renters the security they've promised.

If you would like to join us send an email to and we will send you details.

We know, and the Government knows, that private renters cannot go back to the way things were.

Private renting needs to get better, not worse.

Email your MP today. Ask that they attend our parliamentary Renters' Day event and support the demand for private renting to get better, not worse.

We need MPs to hear our stories and demand that private renters need a safe and secure place to call home.

MPs want to hear about what matters to you as their constituent and how they can help make a difference.

So enter your postcode into the box below. When you press 'continue' you will be able see a draft email ready for you to amend and email to your MP. It's as easy as that.

Make it personal. There's an editable template on the next page. But if you can, add your own renting story or why this matters to you.

Ask for a meeting. You are a constituent and MPs hold regular 'surgeries' to meet local residents.

Include your address details. It is parliamentary protocol that MPs respond to constituents only.
